- 18-8 STAINLESS STEEL - Provides high resistance to corrosion. Used Outdoors for High Corrosive applications. Compatible with ACQ and PRESSURE Treated Lumber.

- TYPE 17 POINT - Allows the screw to capture wood chips as it is driven into wood, providing a smooth, quick installation.
- #2 SQUARE DRIVE - Allows screws to be driven with more torque and aids in preventing cam out. Also gives some degree of tamper resistance as square drives are less common than phillips drives.

U-Turn - #8 x 1-1/4 Deck Screw Square Drive Bugle Head Type 17 18-8 Stainless Steel - A Wood Screw with a bugle head and a square drive. Used for connecting wood to wood. The diameter of the bugle head gradually flares out as it gets further away from the shank of the screw and ends up with a wide surface area at the top, making this great for holding down softer woods that may otherwide rise up over time without such a wide head holding them down. The square drive prevents stripped and allows for the use of higher torque during assembly. 18-8 Stainless Steel is ACQ Compatible and suitable for use in most marine applications. It provides greater corrosion resistance than coated, carbon steel screws, and is less costly than 316 Stainless Steel.
